  1. Stewart Responding: The Khan Academy Video really helped me understand a basic overview of what led up to Hitler's rise to power. I learned a lot about what factors contributed to his power like his audience and the downfall of the political and economic statuses such as the Crisis in 1933. Problems like this eventually was steps for Hitler that eventually led him into becoming more of a political figure.I also got an idea of important figures and presidents to consider when talking about Hitler's rise to power. A question i would have is what perspectives can be considered about Hitler's political power? Who who approve of his actions and who would deny them?
The article on the timeline of Hitler gave me more background information on Hitler, like the idea that his father died at the age of 13, which caused Hitler to work at a young age and become more diverse in school and his education. I also learned how throughout the years Hitler was getting involved with politics and military which is what interested him. I also learn about the start of his journey in 1914 when he volunteered in the war, and eventually got promoted, leading up to a series of event that caused him to rise to power. I learn also about important dates and political actions between nations and up to Hitler's suicide in 1945. A question i would have is what is Hitler's perspective about his overall progress and how did he plan to maintain power?
This political cartoon helps me understand the countries involved and how others see Hitler. Hitler is portrayed to be content and controlling to the cow who is eating the countries whole. The cow is labeled with a Nazi sign representing Hitler;s power. The cartoon also states "The head eats... the rest gets milked" which refers to the countries themselves.A question i would have is what was Hitler's perspective about his actions?
