This video is a documentary about Fidel Castro's survival and his journey into making Cuba what it is now. A lot of information about Fidel's history and the condition of Cuba during his rise to power.
This political cartoon helped me understand the point of view of Castro's opposers because many people left Cuba for the fact that many did not like his ideologies. Many Cubans in the United States have so much hatred for Castro because he is a communist.
ReplyDeleteThe article helped me understand how Fidel Castro first came to power and the different obstacles he faced when rising to power. The article also gave me a brief explanation about the Cuban Missile Crisis because I had forgotten it was a significant event to Castro's rise to power. The article also mentions that Castro was a big contribution to the Cuban Revolution. The video also helped me understand the concept of communism because Castro envisioned Cuba being a certain way. This video really does a good job of talking about Castro's life growing up and how his family got wealthy off of sugar plants.
